The Department of Anesthesia has a team of dedicated, focused, and highly experienced health care professionals, providing comprehensive care in the areas of preoperative anesthesia evaluation, Pre-Operative Patient Management, Intensive Care, Emergency and Trauma Services. We use the latest anesthesia techniques with low flow anesthesia and monitoring of all parameters. Our team is an expert in epidural central and arterial lines.

Types of Anesthesia we are offering:

General Anesthesia:

Anesthesiologists at Ravindra Hospital look after each patient on an individual basis to determine the best combination of medications, depending on the state of mental and physical health, other medical conditions, the running medications of the patients, any allergies, and the type of surgery planned.

Local Anesthesia:

Local anesthesia is an anesthetic agent given to temporarily stop the sense of pain in a particular area of the body. The patient remains conscious during a local anesthetic.

Sedation, also known as “Monitored Anesthesia Care.:

Different levels of possible sedation are provided, depending on the type of procedure and the patient’s preference.

Regional Anesthesia:

Regional anesthesia is used to numb only the portion of the body that will undergo the surgery. Usually, an injection of local anesthetic is given in the area of nerves that provide feeling to that part of the body.
